Dr. Siavash Hassanpour 

                                                                                                                                                                      

Dr. Hassanpour completed his dental training at the University of Toronto. He received his Bachelor’s degree in molecular biology in 2008 and completed his first Masters of Science degree in bone biology in 2010. He  obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2014 and finally he completed his second Masters of Science degree in innate immunology in 2017. He also completed his extensive training in periodontology and implantology in 2017. He is a board certified periodontist and a fellow of Royal College of Dentist of Canada. Dr. Hassanpour has published multiple peer reviewed articles and is a winner of multiple scientific research and clinical awards. 

Dr. Hassanpour has a passion for education. He is currently a clinical instructor in the Graduate and Undergraduate Periodontology Departments at the University of Toronto. He also frequently hosts lectures and seminars for Ontario Dentists and Hygienists. Dr. Hassanpour is also very active in organized dentistry and in the dental community. He is the past-president of the Toronto Central Dental Society as well as the past president of the Ontario Society of Periodontology. Dr. Hassanpour is also privileged to serve as a general councilor for the Ontario Dental Association representing the Central Toronto. 

Dr. Hassanpour is happily married to his high school sweetheart Kelley. Together they have a wonderful three year old son Kyan and one year old Chocolate Lab, Charlie. Dr. Hassanpour is an avid golfer and loves to spend time with family and friends.
