Office Manager / Treatment COORDINATOR
Lisa:
With over 20 years experience in the dental industry, Lisa is the office manager at NYPC and ensures that everything runs smoothly. She enjoys interacting with patients and prides herself in providing optimal care to each patient that comes through the door. When she’s not at the office Lisa loves to travel, spend time with family and friends, volunteer and read.
Reception
Jennifer:
Jennifer graduated from the dental administration program from George Brown College in 2020. She is a people-person who finds joy in being friendly, compassionate, and helpful. In her free time, Jennifer enjoys life! She has a variety of interests, which include baking sweet treats with her mom and nieces, listening to music, and going on adventures with her closest friends.
Amanda:
Amanda has a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Carleton University and enjoys solving problems and connecting with people. She greets everyone with enthusiasm and is looking forward to learning more about dentistry. When not in the office, Amanda can be found planning and running activities in her local community as a Girl Guide leader. She is an avid lover of theatre and live music and dabbles in amateur audio production in her spare time.
Hygiene
Sherri:
Sherri graduated from Durham College as a Registered Dental Hygienist in 1996. She has worked in a Periodontal practice since then. Sherri also worked for 3 years as a Certified Dental Assistant in orthodontics prior to entering Dental Hygiene. Currently, she is working towards a degree in Adult Education. Sherri loves to travel and spends spare time with her family and scrap-booking her adventures.
Joyce:
Joyce is a 1995 graduate of Seneca College’s Dental Hygiene program in Toronto. Her post-secondary education began at York University where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree. She continued her education and also completed a diploma in Dental Assisting prior to attaining her Dental Hygiene Diploma. Joyce provides exemplary service to her patients. She is meticulous and maintains high standards in the profession of periodontics and dental hygiene in general. Joyce’s positive and enthusiastic attitude, in addition to her professional conduct, are truly appreciated by her patients and colleagues. Joyce’s optimism is also evident in her personal pursuit to always learn how to be a better person and attain spiritual growth. Her goal is to make positive contributions to benefit her family, community and the world.
Assistants
Ahdi:
Ahdi graduated with a degree in Dental Assisting from CDI in 2005. She has worked in multiple specialist dental offices and has been a part of our team at North York Periodontal Centre since 2012. Ahdi is kind, positive and dedicated which is apparent as she greets you with a smile on your arrival in our office. Ahdi truly loves her career as a dental assistant. Ahdi was was born and raised in Iran and is the proud mother of her 22 years old son. Ahdi loves spending time with her family, travelling, hiking and cooking.
Sayuri:
Sayuri has been working in the dental field for 5 years and has been a Dental Assistant for almost 3 years. Sayrui enjoys working in a specialty office because it gives her the opportunity to be a part of the patient’s journey from the initial consultation appointment all the way to the last post-operative check when they leave with their healthy, confident smile. She strongly believes in a patient-centered approach to dental care and will always treat our patient as if they were family. In her free time Sayuri loves to bake, dance, workout and hike with her dog. Sayuri loves to be active as it strengthens her both mentally and physically.
